Childcare Contribution

To assist with the rising costs of childcare, Schreiber Foods offers a Child Care Assistance Program designed to support eligible partners with verified dependents up to age 13. This program aims to alleviate the financial burden of childcare while ensuring your dependents receive quality care. Schreiber Foods will cover 50% of qualifying childcare services each month, up to $1,000 per eligible partner or household, with an annual limit of $5,000. Additionally, all non-union partners are automatically enrolled in the Care Finder Benefit, which helps parents find suitable childcare providers without needing to elect this benefit separately. Eligibility

Contribution Benefit: Non-union partners who earn less than $100k annually or $48/hour are eligible for this benefit. It must be elected during an eligible benefit event.

Care Finder Benefit: All non-union partners are automatically enrolled in this program, and no election is needed.

How to Get Started

Contribution Benefit Reminder: Eligible partners must elect the contribution benefit during their New Hire or Life event to qualify. When electing the benefit, you must add a dependent aged 12 or younger and verify them. If the dependent is not verified, you will not be able to utilize the contribution benefit. We encourage you to enroll during your event if you think you may need to use the benefit at some point in the calendar year. If you do not, you will need to wait until Open Enrollment or a qualified life event to elect at a later date.

Creating Your TOOTRiS Account: To create your TOOTRiS account, register at tootris.com/schreiber-foods. Once your account is created, you can search for and identify the right provider for you and your family. If you are using or want to use a provider that is not part of the TOOTRiS network, you may submit the request to schreiberfoods@tootris.com or call (866) 341-6363.

At Schreiber, we believe in supporting our partners in building their families. That’s why we offer an Adoption Assistance Benefit to help with the financial costs of the adoption process. This benefit provides up to $10,000 to cover expenses related to adopting a child. Please note that this payment is taxable under federal and state requirements.

Eligibility

The adoption assistance benefit is available to partners who have completed one year of service and are in a regular full-time position or a non-union regular part-time position.

Requesting Assistance

Schreiber will provide a payment of up to $10,000 after the adoption is finalized. If both parents work at Schreiber, only one partner can receive the payment. To request assistance, complete the adoption assistance form and submit it to benefits@Schreiberfoods.com.

  • Regular full-time partners are eligible for a $10,000 payment.
  • Regular part-time non-union partners working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for a $5,000 payment.

We offer a paid parental leave benefit to support partners during the life-changing time of welcoming a new child, whether through birth or adoption. This benefit provides eligible partners with four weeks of paid leave, up to 160 hours of straight time pay per eligible child.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the parental leave benefit, partners must be regular full-time or regular non-union part-time working at least 20 hours per week. Birth mothers, fathers, adoptive mothers, and adoptive fathers are eligible for the parental leave benefit.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Partners should notify their local HR team as soon as possible about their need for parental leave. This can be done by emailing benefits@schreiberfoods.com if located at Home Office, or local HR at your respective location.

Step 2:  Partners will need to complete the necessary forms, including the parental leave request and FMLA acknowledgment. Submit the completed forms to the respective HR contact once complete.

Step 3: HR will verify the eligibility and process the leave request. Partners will receive confirmation and details about their leave period.

Important: During the parental leave period, partners are not eligible to work and receive parental leave pay for the same hours. All normal payroll deductions will be taken from this payment, including healthcare contributions, federal taxes, FICA, FUTA taxes, as well as state and/or local taxes. Maven Parenting and Pediatrics is a comprehensive program designed to support working parents and their children. It offers personalized parent coaching and specialized pediatric care through a digital platform. The program aims to help parents navigate various challenges, from managing tantrums and special learning needs to building healthy co-parenting relationships and exploring childcare options.

Partners and spouses enrolled in a Schreiber medical plan.

How to Get Started

Step 1: To get started go to mavenclinic.com/join/getstarted or download the Maven Clinic app.

Step 2:  Select the Parenting & Pediatric program.

Step 3: Connect with your Maven Care Team, meet with your Care Advocate, message or visit with a provider, watch a class, or read an article right away.

Our fertility benefit is designed to support you on your journey to parenthood. This comprehensive program offers access to a range of services, including consultations with fertility specialists, coverage for treatments such as IVF and IUI, and support for related medications. Additionally, we provide resources and counseling to help you navigate the emotional and physical aspects of fertility treatments. Our goal is to ensure you have the support and care you need every step of the way.
